Great Britain Railway Information:

The British rail network is made up of several train companies, which are regulated by ATOC (Association of train operating companies). Visit the ATOC website for a detailed overview of these train companies.

Your InterRail Pass is valid on trains from all of these companies, except the Eurostar and the Heathrow Express.

Train Service:

Visitors to Great Britain are often pleasantly surprised when they discover the extensive and well-developed train system that the country has to offer. Britain's train network criss-crosses the land with services to even small towns and villages and there are almost 20,000 train services on a typical weekday.
